I Was a Vendor at the Wisconsin Self-Determination Conference
I recently had my first test-marketing opportunity at the Wisconsin Self-Determination Conference . It was a good learning experience. It went better than I could have asked for or expected. Something I learned from doing the conference: Take into account the market you're selling in, whether it's in-person events or online. For example, if I do the same event next year, I would offer some lower-priced items because a fair amount of disabled people live on a fixed income. I would also do more self-promotion before the conference to let people know where they can find me. I was surprised by just how much time and effort it took to finalize preparations for the conference.
